Old foe Bolton drawn in cup

Tranmere will meet old rivals Bolton Wanderers in competitive action for the first time in five-and-a-half years after being drawn at home to Gary Megson's side in the second round of the Carling Cup.

Goals from Eugene Dadi and Iain Hume gave Rovers an extra-time win at the Reebok in the FA Cup last time the two sides met. 

This years tie will be played in the week commencing 24th August.
