Regular users of our forum may have seen the option to subscribe whilst they’ve been surfing about the site. But what are the benefits of doing so, how much is it and how do you do it? All is explained here.

Why subscribe the thecowsheds.co.uk?

The Cowsheds has quickly become the biggest and busiest Tranmere Rovers site and forum on the internet. Bringing together much of the user base from the old Rovers Rearguard website, and Every Ball’s a White Ball, along with plenty of new members, the site has gone from strength-to-strength.

Our recently upgraded forum software has opened up a world of features for you to use that were not previously available. Due to the costs of buying the software, some of the features are for subscribed users only. They include:

Away from the forum, subscribing to the website also allows you to enter our exclusive competitions and join in with projects. Already this year we have given away loads of great stuff including signed Tranmere shirts and Masters Grand Final tickets!

Tomorrow, we launch our great Football Manager competition which is also open to members only. Copies of the brand new game plus goody bags are all available, while we also hope to have a competition over Christmas.

The final reason you may like to consider subscribing is merely to help keep this site up and running. The costs of maintaining a site such as this are not cheap and we are totally none profit, nor do we aim to be. The team behind the site, including owners, forum staff and the editorial side, all donate their time around full-time jobs or studies to keep it going.

How do I subscribe?

The subscription process is quick and easy, and you can do everything through PayPal, arguably the most secure method of online payment available right now. Step-by-step guide

Step 1 – Navigate to the forum page. From the menu bar at the top, select “User CP”.
Step 2 – Scroll down to options on the left hand side, and select ‘Subscription options’.
Step 3 – From the drop down box select “1 year - £5.00”. Click ok
Step 4 – A PayPal login should then load. Login and complete the transaction. Once completed, you will be a fully subscribed member.
